Easter, Labor Day marked as holidays in Serbia
BELGRADE - Pursuant to the Law on Public and Other Holidays in the Republic of Serbia, Easter is a religious holiday which is marked from Good Friday to the second day of Easter with non-working days from April 18-21, reads a statement by the Serbian Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Policy issued on Tuesday.

Need for police reform and adoption of new law
BELGRADE - State Secretary at the Serbian Ministry of Internal Affairs Vladimir Bozovic and head of the Unit on Relations with Serbia in the European Commission Directorate General for Enlargement Myriam Ferran conferred on Wednesday concerning the need for police reforms and the adoption of a new law on the police.

Canak new chairman of Social, Economic Council
BELGRADE - The Social and Economic Council appointed Monday President of the Trade Union Confederation "Independence " Branislav Canak as chairperson of the Council, for the period from 7 April 2014 to 7 April 2015, it was stated at the Council's session.
Members of the Council at the regular 53rd session thanked Serbian Prime Minister Ivica Dacic for chairing this body so far.
