Heating Crisis Continues in Some Sofia Neighborhoods
A number of neighborhoods remain cut off the heating grid for days in Bulgaria, capital after technical faults, amid controversy over what caused the breakdown.
Lyulin (4-5) and Nadezhda (3-6) are affected after successive breakdowns over the past 24 hours.

KEVR: Price Increase of Water in Sofia Cannot Be Less Than 18%
The increase in the price of water in Sofia cannot be less than 18%, while the price change will probably come into effect as of March 1, said in an interview the member of the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (KEVR) Dimitar Kochkov.
On February 3, the regulator is expected to discuss the report on the price change at an open meeting.

Former Finance Minister Stoyan Alexandrov is being investigated for usury, announced the speaker of the Chief Prosecutor Rumyana Arnaudova on bTV.
The check started on September 8 and is being carried out by the Sofia City Prosecutor's Office. It is for the period 2002-2016 when Alexandrov was the director of a bank but in his capacity as a natural person.
Tickets for Public Transport in Sofia to Cost BGN 1.6 from June 1
Tickets for public transport in the Bulgarian capital will cost BGN 1.6 starting from June 1.
At its regular meeting on Thursday, the Sofia municipal council approved the increase in the price of a single ticket from BGN 1 to BGN 1.6.
Out of the 61-member council, 34 councilors voted in favour, eighteen were against, while six abstained.
Bulgaria Ruling Party Loses Control on Sofia City Council - Final Count
Buglaria's main ruling GERB party has dramatically lost its absolute majority in the Sofia Municipal Council, final results show.
GERB, the center-right party of Prime Minister Boyko Borisov, has only mustered 42.88% of the vote, compared to the 48% of ballots it received in 2011.
The result then translated into 33 out of 61 seats.
