Top Turkish students opt for medicine, tech engineering
Students who achieve the highest scores in the university entrance exam in Türkiye prefer to study medicine, psychology, and engineering the most, while once-popular fields like law are now less favored among the top students, local media has reported.
Some 1 million students to enroll at universities
Around 1 million students out of the nearly 3 million who appeared in the university entrance exams have become eligible to enroll in universities for the forthcoming academic year, with 10 students getting flawless scores in their respective fields.

‘University fees should be in line with inflation rates’
Türkiye's Higher Education Board (YÖK) head Erol Özvar has advised foundation universities to make inflation rates a top priority when determining fees.
Speaking to the press in Ankara, Özvar stated that they expect foundation universities to take into account the increase in rates in previous years.
