Foreign investors trust Türkiye and their worries about the economic program the government implements have disappeared, Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek has said.

Türkiye's main exporters' association has voiced support for the government's decision to impose trade restrictions on Israel over the war in Gaza.

"We stand by our state in any sanction when the national interests of our country require it and to end humanitarian tragedies," the Türkiye Exporters' Assembly (TİM) said in a statement on social media platform X.

Most of the targets set out in the Türkiye Economy Model have been met, Treasury and Finance Minister Nurettin Nebati has said.

The Turkish economy has grown in the past 10 quarters, as investments are continuing, the minister told state broadcaster TRT Haber in an interview.

The Transport Ministry issued a ban on Turkish-flagged commercial yachts and regular passenger ships sailing to Greece as of Sept. 25 after the Greek authorities seized 11 vessels for allegedly violating a maritime regulation overseeing the quality of international sea transportation.

More dismissals from the military are on the way for individuals suspected of ties to the Fethullahist Terrorist Organization (FETÖ), but certain numbers cannot yet be given, Defense Minister Fikri Işık said on July 4.

Cemil Ertem told state broadcaster TRT Haber that the Turkish Lira, still not far off a record low hit last year, was in a "strong position" against the U.S. dollar.
