Donald Trump survived what is being described as an assassination attempt after gunshots were fired at the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida. The FBI confirmed the incident, stating that Trump, who was on the golf course at the time, is safe. A Secret Service agent reportedly fired at a man in the vicinity.

The individual detained in connection with the “attempted assassination” of Donald Trump, as characterized by the FBI, has been identified.
It is 58-year-old Ryan Wesley Ruth. Ruth failed to shoot the former president, and Trump was unharmed during the incident.
