Turkey's Directorate of Religious Affairs

President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an has accused both the main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) and the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) of "religious indifference," while also praising Turkey's Directorate of Religious Affairs (Diyanet) for preventing the presence of fundamentalist groups such as Boko Haram and the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).

Turkey's Directorate of Religious Affairs (Diyanet) has released a fatwa stating that usage of toilet paper is permissible within Islam, though it emphasized that water should be the primary source of cleansing. 

It is noticeable that Latin America has not displayed Islamophobic tendencies recently, though the same cannot be said for the U.S. and Europe, Turkey's Directorate of Religious Affairs (Diyanet) head Mehmet Görmez has said.

One thousand Muslims are being killed each day and 90 percent of the killers are also Muslims, head of Turkey's Directorate of Religious Affairs (Diyanet) has said.
