Turkish top court orders retrial for captain expelled over 'Game of Thrones' screening

Turkey's Constitutional Court has ordered the retrial of an expelled captain over the screening of an episode of "Game of Thrones," daily Habertürk has reported. 

Cpt. İskender Gülbahar was expelled for screening the episodes of the hit TV series at the Maltepe Military High School in the western province of İzmir. 

Turkish FM calls Russia's Lavrov 'to express sorrow'

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavu?o?lu called his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov on Nov. 25 "to express his sorrow" over the downing of a Russian jet by Turkey near the Syrian border.

The Turkish foreign minister expressed "his sincere condolences," Lavrov told reporters at a press conference in Moscow. "But the Turkish minister tried to excuse the incident," Lavrov added.

Bribes paid but not taken
