The fourth round of meeting on confidence-building measures between the delegations of the Turkish and Greek defense ministries will be held on May 26-27 via video conference, the Turkish Defense Ministry has said.
Pilots rescued after aircraft crashes off Turkey’s Aegean coast
A Turkish military jet trainer crashed on April 9 in the Aegean Sea, the Turkish Defense Ministry said.
According to a ministry statement, the two pilots of the KT-1 type plane that crashed during its regular training flight were rescued by Turkish Coast Guard teams.
The plane crashed due to engine failure, it said.
Turkey notifies Russia to stop shooting on civilians in northern Syria

Turkey summons US envoy to protest in ‘strongest terms’
Turkey told Washington's envoy it took the "strongest" exception to a U.S. statement on the massacre of 13 Turkish citizens over the weekend, said the Turkish Foreign Ministry.
"Today, U.S. Ambassador David Satterfield was summoned to our ministry, and our reaction to the statement by the US was voiced in the strongest terms," said a ministry statement on Feb. 15.

Turkey trains Libyan Navy in underwater warfare
Turkey's Armed Forces have provided the Libyan Navy with five weeks of training in underwater warfare, Turkish defense officials said on Dec. 27.
The move is part of Turkey's commitment to Libya based on agreements between the two countries, the officials said.
