Teenager succumbs to measles

A second person has died from measles in Greece this year. It was revealed that a 17-year-old boy died at the University Hospital in Rio, near the western port city of Patra, last Friday.

The youngster suffered a brain inflammation after contracting the disease from members of his family.

He had not been vaccinated.

20 Thousand People Sought Help at Pirogov Hospital just for July

20,000 people went through Pirogov in one of the two holiday months - July. 3340 patients had to remain treated, the University Emergency Hospital reported. For July, the uninsured people that sought help were 900 people. For the last day, 680 passed through the hospital, of which 32 without health insurance. 166 were admitted for hospital treatment. Human remains found in a well

Coroners at the University hospital in Iraklio, Crete, were examining on Friday the remains of a person found in a well next to a cemetery in the town of Malia.

The remains were discovered on Thursday by a crew that went to clean the well. 

A leather belt and a camera were found lying next to the remains.
 

One soldier killed as tank falls off cliff in Turkey's southeast

One soldier has been killed while another has been wounded after a tank fell off a cliff while maneuvering in the southeastern province of ??rnak's Uludere district. 

Specialized Sgt. Özcan Mutlu was heavily wounded when the maneuvering tank fell off a cliff in Uludere on April 5. Mutlu was promptly brought to ??rnak Military Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
