500 People Have Gone Through Pirogov Hospital During the Last Day
500 people have been treated in the hospital for the last 24 hours. This was said by the Executive Director of the University Hospital "N. I. Pirogov" Prof. Assen Baltov during a briefing in the hospital, a FOCUS News Agency reporter informs.
Teenager succumbs to measles
A second person has died from measles in Greece this year. It was revealed that a 17-year-old boy died at the University Hospital in Rio, near the western port city of Patra, last Friday.
The youngster suffered a brain inflammation after contracting the disease from members of his family.
He had not been vaccinated.

Human remains found in a well
Coroners at the University hospital in Iraklio, Crete, were examining on Friday the remains of a person found in a well next to a cemetery in the town of Malia.
The remains were discovered on Thursday by a crew that went to clean the well.
A leather belt and a camera were found lying next to the remains.

The Afghan boy's medical condition has been stabilised after an operation, but his life is still at risk, Jivko Zhelyazkov, deputy director of the University Hospital in the city of Stara Zagora in southern Bulgaria told BIRN on Monday.

One soldier has been killed while another has been wounded after a tank fell off a cliff while maneuvering in the southeastern province of ??rnak's Uludere district.
