Erdoğan sends letter to Trump, says Turkey will show solidarity as a strong ally
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has promised to stand in solidarity with the United States in its struggle against the coronavirus pandemic and as it recovers from the outbreak.
In a letter sent to U.S. President Donald Trump, Erdoğan said he was following with appreciation Trump's efforts to control the outbreak.
US human rights report on Turkey contains baseless accusations: Ministry
A human rights report prepared by the U.S. Department of State includes "baseless accusations" about the state of human rights in Turkey, said the Foreign Ministry on March 13.
The part regarding Turkey's Human Rights Report "appears that it is far from objectivity and prepared with political motives," said the ministry in a written statement.
DFC prepares funding of several local projects
