The International Monetary Fund said Nov. 12 that the US Federal Reserve should delay raising interest rates until there are clear signs of a pickup in inflation.

New data on industry production required a downward revision of third quarter growth estimates. Economists started to revise downward even the recently revised 3 percent growth figure.   

Forbes magazine declared Russian President Vladimir Putin as the most powerful person in the world for the third year in a row.

This magazine revealed this in its seventh annual list, which ranks the "World's Most Powerful People" in 2015.

"I can't stand him. He's a liar," then-French President Nicolas Sarkozy told U.S. President Barack Obama four years ago, in a conversation about Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Obama replied: "You're fed up with him? I have to deal with him every day." It was a private conversation, but we know about it because it was accidentally broadcast to journalists.

It is a great honour for me to join this Eurogroup meeting as finance minister in the newly elected Greek government.

The actual aim of appointing a trustee panel to the Koza-?pek Group was to seize its media group. The first actions of the trustees confirm this. 

From the first day, trustees entered the group's media outlets and seized the televisions first. The step after this will be the firing of opposition writers and journalists in the group newspapers. This is also seen openly now. 

Turks seem to be fed up with the number of Syrian refugees coming to Turkey. According to a recent survey by the U.S.-based Pew Research Center, 67 percent of Turks believe that "Turkey should allow fewer refugees from Syria and Iraq." Does that mean that Turks now consider Syrians as a burden?

The other day Chief of General Staff Gen. Hulusi Akar said, ?Our heroic comrades in arms are exerting care and sensitivity not to harm civilian targets and citizens.? 

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard got married eight month ago, but there have already been rumors that they are heading for divorce.

According to Star magazine the reason is Jonny Depp’s group called “Hollywood Vampires” where Alice Cooper and Aerosmith’s guitarist Joe Perry are also members.

Lesvos island is one of the places which has suffered the most from the hundreds of refugees who continue landing on the island. But, despite all, the local people distinguish themselves from the politicians and political actions and show their affection and humanitarianism to the people who were forced to leave their country and risk their lives everyday.
