Turkey condemns deadly Houthi attack in Yemen
Turkey on Jan. 19 condemned the attack of Iranian-backed Houthi rebels that claimed 79 lives people in Marib, western Yemen.
"We condemn the attack mounted by Houthi groups on a government-held military camp in Yemen which caused the death of 70 people and injured a large number of people," said the Turkish Foreign Ministry in a statement.

UN Security Council to Discuss Yemen over Saudi Bombing
The United Nations Security Council is hold an extraordinary meeting on Saturday over the humanitarian situation in Yemen.
Earlier Russia called for the meeting, with its mission to the UN demanding closed-door consultations to "discuss an isse of humanitarian pause during coalition air strikes in Yemen," according to the Moscow Times.

A statement by the ministry on Aug. 27 asked Turkish citizens to take the necessary security measures and stay away from clashes and large crowds.
