Turkey preparing to be on the field in Mosul operation: Erdoğan
Turkey is making preparations to enter the field as part of the Mosul operation while also pursuing diplomatic talks with coalition partners, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said Oct. 18.

Dozens of jihadists killed fighting Syria Kurds: monitor
At least 44 members of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) were killed in clashes with Kurdish troops in Syria on Thursday, a monitoring group said.
Thirty of the jihadists were killed fighting against members of the Kurdish People's Protection Units (YPG) in the village of Qassiab in Hasakeh province, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
