Reds and Greens stroll to comfortable Euroleague wins in Greece
Panathinaikos and Olympiakos scored comfortable victories at home in the first half of another double week in the Euroleague.
First up, the Reds put 101 past visiting Alba Berlin (101-87) at the Peace and Friendship Stadium on Tuesday to improve their record to 13-11 and climb to the seventh spot.
Reds and Greens fail to meet expectations
Olympiakos missed the chance to clinch the top spot of the Euroleague table for the regular season, going down on Thursday at Red Star Belgrade, while Panathinaikos lost to visiting Alba Berlin in Athens on Friday.
Despite leading in the first half, Olympiakos went down 87-79 at Red Star Belgrade, but it's still tied with Real Madrid at the top of the table, with a 23-10 record.

EuroLeague: Fenerbahçe Beko score second straight win
Turkish basketball club Fenerbahçe Beko defeated their German opponents Alba Berlin 74-70 on Jan. 31, taking one step closer to the top eight playoff spot in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague standings.
In an away match in Berlin, Fenerbahçe's French guard Leo Westermann changed the fate of the game to help his team beat the German club.
Vital road win for the Greens at Zalgiris
Panathinaikos produced an important road win at Zalgiris Kaunas for the Euroleague on Tuesday, while Olympiakos let its lead at Bayern slip through its hands to lose in Munich.

Panathinaikos's overtime loss to Alba Berlin for the Euroleague in Athens has cost coach Argyris Pedoulakis his job, while Olympiakos scored a much-needed home win against Zalgiris Kaunas.

Partizan lose to Alba in basketball Eurocup
BELGRADE - Partizan Belgrade lost 96-80 (21-19, 33-21, 19-18, 23-22) at home to Alba Berlin in a Eurocup Basketball Group C, Round 6 game on Tuesday.
In front of 4,300 spectators at the Aleksandar Nikolic Hall, Spencer Butterfield and Marius Grigonis led Alba to victory with 20 points each.

Sasa Obradovic Coach of the Year in Germany
BERLIN - Sasa Obradovic of Alba Berlin has been named 2014-2015 Coach of the Year in the Basketball Bundesliga, it was released on the BBL's website.
Obradovic won the highest number of votes (88) from his colleagues, team captains and media representatives.

Greens risk going out after home loss to Alba

Panathinaikos was upset at home by Alba Berlin with a 68-66 score on Thursday and will need victory at eliminated Red Star Belgrade next week to make sure it qualifies to the play-offs of the Euroleague. Otherwise it will hope that Maccabi beats Alba in Berlin.

Friday the 13th for Greeks in Euroleague

Olympiakos not only lost to Fenerbahce/Ulker at the Peace and Friendship Stadium on Friday but also saw its advantage from the game in Istanbul covered by the Turks, while Panathinaikos produced another erratic performance in the Euroleague, this time in Lithuania, to lose to Zalgiris Kaunas and dent its qualification chances.
