AEK did it again on Sunday. It came from behind to beat Olympiakos in the last few minutes to add a 2-1 away win over the Reds to a 3-2 home come-back triumph earlier this season. The result has taken AEK up to second, Olympiakos down to third, and PAOK - victor of PAS at Ioannina - two points clear at the top of the Super League table.

Karim Ansarifard scored twice on his European competition debut to give Olympiakos the boost it needed to see off host Osmanlispor with a 3-0 score in Ankara and advance to the last 16 of the Europa League on Thursday.

AEK forced Olympiakos's second loss in the Super League this year, winning 1-0 in Sunday's derby to secure little more than the bragging rights, given it remains 18 points from the top of the table.

Three first-half goals gave a clearly superior Olympiakos a 3-0 win over archrival Panathinaikos in the Greek derby on Sunday to make the Reds a hot favorite for one more Super League title, as they have now opened a seven-point gap over the Greens. AEK and PAOK also had adverse results this weekend.

A spectacular goal by Thodoris Vassilakakis gave Xanthi a famous 2-1 win at Panathinaikos on Sunday allowing Olympiakos to climb alone at the top of the Super League after its 2-0 victory over Panionios on Saturday.

Olympiakos completed a league-and-cup double on Saturday by beating Xanthi 3-1 in the Greek Cup final at the Olympic Stadium of Athens, that was more balanced than the final score suggests.
