More than 3 million candidates have applied for the upcoming university entrance exams in Türkiye, the head of the Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) announced on March 12.

Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) will leverage artificial intelligence (AI) in order to conduct examinations more efficiently and streamline the process.

A record-breaking number of people have applied for the university entrance exam, which will be held on June 17-18, while the oldest candidate is 89 years old, and the youngest one is aged 15, the country's top exam body head Ali Ersoy has said.
