In a traditional for "We Continue the Change" style, final talks with coalition partners on the governance program for the next six months were being held late last night.

This morning, President of Bulgaria Rumen Radev dissolved the acting caretaker government and presented the new one, which had to be formed after the 46th National Assembly failed to form a regular cabinet. There are three new faces in this latest caretaker government, led as its predecessor by Prime Minister Stefan Yanev.

MPs passed the budget update at first reading, but on the condition that they propose a host of changes between the two readings.

The biggest problem is the spike in unemployment," told BNR economist Asen Vasilev, a former caretaker minister of economy.
