Athens giants catch up with Thessaloniki teams at the Super League summit

Olympiakos beat PAOK on Sunday and has climbed to the top of the Super League table alongside Aris, that lost at Panetolikos, and AEK that beat Asteras Tripolis at home.

Therefore the losses of both Thessaloniki teams mean that AEK and Olympiakos have joined Aris at the top and PAOK has dropped to fourth, while Panathinaikos won again and is now within two points from the leaders.

Olympiakos triumphs, PAOK saves face and Panathinaikos sinks

Olympiakos scored a precious away win in Sweden on Thursday, PAOK salvaged a point through a last-ditch effort, while Panathinaikos suffered a bad loss at home, on a very busy night of European soccer.

The Conference League holder beat host Malmoe 1-0 away for its second win in three games at the League Phase of the Europa League.

PAOK leads the table alone, as Aris beats Olympiakos

Aris inflicted Olympiakos' first loss this season, and AEK dropped points at Kallithea, allowing PAOK to go alone on top of the Super League table.

Aris showed it will fight for a place in the top four (that will contest the title playoffs), as on Saturday it defeated Europa Conference League holder Olympiakos 2-1 in Thessaloniki.

Perfect start for Olympiakos and PAOK

Olympiakos and PAOK extended their perfect record at the start of the Super League with three wins out of three, this time away from home over the weekend, to lead the table with nine points.

On Saturday Olympiakos overcome host Lamia with a 3-0 score, goals coming from Ayoub El Kaabi (twice) and Gelson Martins.

Olympiakos beats Villa again to reach Conference League final

Olympiakos became on Thursday the second Greek club ever to reach a European final, as it defeated Aston Villa for the second time in as many games, this time with a 2-0 score in Piraeus, to set up an appointment with Fiorentina at the Europa Conference League final, to take place on May 29 in Athens.
