At the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) summit in Istanbul, it was proposed that a "European Muslims group" should be formed. There is an Asia group, an Arab group and an Africa group in the OIC, so why should there not be a Europe group? 

Of course, when one says "Islam" and "Europe," colossal issues and hopes come to mind. 

Aleksandar Vucic will travel to Bosnia-Herzegovina on Tuesday "to meet with Muslim leader Bakir Izetbegovic in an effort to defuse recent tensions."

The Serbian prime minister also announced that he may make a similar trip to Croatia in the coming weeks, the Politico website said on Monday.

Camil Durakovic, the mayor of Srebrenica, is thinking about running for a second mandate in October's local elections.

"I will probably officially announce my candidature sometimes next week," Durakovic told BIRN on Thursday.

Police from the Bosnian State Investigation and Protection Agency on Monday arrested Radoncic, a tycoon who leads the Alliance for a Better Future of Bosnia and Herzegovina, SBBBiH party.

According to a statement from the Bosnian prosecution, Radoncic was arrested in Sarajevo for allegedly "interfering with the work of the judiciary".

Friday's appointment of Sebija Izetbegovic, wife of the Bosniak member of the Bosnian Presidency, as director of the University Clinical Center of Sarajevo, UKCS, an important medical institute, has caused controversy in Bosnia.

Sebija, who has been director of the Abdulah Nakash hospital in Sarajevo since 2013, was elected at a session of the board of the UKCS on January 6.

Relations with Serbia are improving, while Bosnia-Herzegovina will not recognize Kosovo in the foreseeable future, Bakir Izetbegovic has said.
