Day 200 of anti-government protests in Sofia drew thousands of dissatisfied with Borissov's cabinet and Chief Prosecutor Geshev. Representatives of the "System Kills Us" initiative blocked traffic in the "Triangle of Power" around 4:20 p.m.

Prime Minister Borissov explained that the only compromise that can be made with health is related only to education.   The prime minister affected the new strain, saying the risk is high. He added that the situation will be monitored until January 31. "The optimism in all of us was very sharply refuted by the doctors.

"We are ready for compromise once again," told Nova TV Emil Kolarov from the Association of Restaurants in Bulgaria asked whether the restaurants will resume work.

He stressed that the guild was ready to agree with some of the demands of the government and health authorities, but saw no willingness for compromise on their part.

"After the old reactors were pulled out of operation, it is very important that we received a license for the Units 5 and 6 of the Kozloduy NPP for another ten years", noted Borisov.

He turned up the heat bragging about his successful management of Bulgaria. The Prime Minister's main target was President Rumen Radev. Borissov voiced serious accusations against the head of state.

The roadmap prepared by the Ministry of Health for medical evacuation by air of injured Bulgarian citizens includes the purchase of 1 helicopter with European funds and provision of national funding for the repair of 4 available Cougar helicopters, owned by the Ministry of Defense.

From 1 January 2021 the minimum pension in Bulgaria will be BGN 300, and as of 1 July all other pensions will rise by 5%, as promised. This is another fulfilled commitment stipulated in our management program," said Prime Minister Borissov during today's government meeting.

From December 31, Bulgaria will start receiving natural gas from Azerbaijan. According to the signed contract between Bulgargaz and the Azerbaijani oil company SOCAR, 1 billion cubic meters of gas per year will be delivered to our country from the Shah Deniz 2 gas field for a period of 25 years, the government press office reported.

President Rumen Radev called on MPs to donate their March salaries for the fight against the coronavirus, and provoked the reaction of government representatives with his comments in connection with the measures during the state of emergency.

The head of state warned that the measures to protect the country from socio-economic catastrophe are not taken at the appropriate time.
