Family funeral in France for Total boss

Former Total boss Christophe de Margerie, who died last week when his private jet crashed in Russia, was buried on Oct. 28 in a private family funeral in France.
      
Around 100 mourners, mainly relatives and close associates, were present at the ceremony held under clear blue skies in the small village of Saint-Pair-sur-Mer in northwestern France.
      

Russia detains four more suspects in Total crash probe

Russian investigators detained four more staff members Oct. 23 at the Moscow airport where the CEO of French oil giant Total died when his plane collided with a snow plough.
      
Those detained include an intern air traffic controller, her supervisor, who was in charge of flights at the time, and the heads of the airport's air traffic controllers and runway cleaners.

At least five people are dead after a private jet crashed at Moscow's Vnukovo airport also claiming the life of French oil company Total's CEO Christophe de Margerie.

The plane collided with a snow-clearing machine as it was taking off, leaving the driver, three crew members and a passenger, who was De Margerie, dead, the BBC quotes the airport's spokesperson Elena Krylova as saying.
