The state assistance framework to support owners and tenants who lived in the apartment building on Arcadia Street in Abelokipoi, which was severely damaged by the bomb blast, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis announced at a meeting with them this morning at the Maximou Mansion.

Minister of Citizen Protection Michalis Chrysochoidis has announced the reinforcement of the Mykonos Police Sub-Directorate with officers from Attica Security, in order to combat crime on the Cycladic island. 

“I feel that the responsibility doesn’t solely lie with the Fire Service, as we went up to Evros with Mr. Dendias; the Hellenic Police Force is also involved with Mr. Chrysochoidis”

The telephone communication between the Prime Minister and the Turkish President at 7.30 pm tonight is made on a Greek initiative as the Prime Minister wants to make it clear that Athens would not like to see a crowd of refugees at the Evros fence and incited mass movements on its land and sea borders, and on the other hand that the mass flows of refugees are not in the interest of either count

Citizen Protection Minister Mihalis Chrysohoidis said the downtown district of Exarchia, where police has been conducting a series of raids to clear squats and arrest drug traffickers, will be "handed back to its residents" by the end of March.
