The Romanian tennis players Marius Copil and Adrian Ungur have won the doubles in the 439,405 euro worth BRD Nastase Tiriac Trophy, by defeating in the final 3-6, 7-5, 17-15 the pair of US Nicholas Monroe and New Zealander Artem Sitak, on Sunday, at Bucharest's Arenele BNR.

The team made of Romanian male tennis player Horia Tecau and Dutch Jean-Julien Rojer on Tuesday qualified for the quarterfinals of the doubles event of the ATP tournament taking place in Shenzhen (China), equipped with total prizes worth 590,230 US dollars, after winning, 6-2, 6-1, in front of the team Colin Fleming (UK)/Robert Lindstedt (Sweden).
