The Names of All 17 New Bulgaria's MEPs Became Clear Late Last Night
Late last night, the names of all 17 new MEPs became clear. The CEC officially announced the results of Sunday's European elections. Thus, 5 Bulgarian parties and coalitions will have their representatives in the new European Parliament. These are GERB, BSP, DPS (MRF), VMRO (IMRO) and Democratic Bulgaria.
Over 90% of Electoral Commission Protocols are Processed - GERB Leads with 6% to the BSP
Regional Electoral Commissions have processed over 90% of section electoral commission protocols. In the early afternoon, these protocols are expected to arrive at the CEC where re-counting begins. This is what the CEC spokesman Alexander Andreev told the Bulgarian National Radio.

According to the Gallup International at 19:00, the ruling party receives 30.5% of the vote. The Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) is in second place with 25.4 and the third place is the Movement for Rights and Freedoms with 12.8.
Former Mayor of Mladost District in Sofia Sentenced to 20 Years of Imprisonment
The Specialised Court on 15th of April sentenced the former mayor of the metropolitan area "Mladost", Desislava Ivancheva, to 20 years in prison and a fine of 10,000 BGN and deprivation of the right to take a public post. Her deputy Bilyana Petrova was sentenced to 15 years of imprisonment and a fine of 15,000 BGN.
Court Postpones Trial Against Former Mladost Mayor
Sofia. The Special Criminal Court postponed the trial against former Mladost district mayor Desislava Ivancheva to September 13, BNR has reported. The trial could not begin because Ivancheva and another defendant did not receive the indictment on time.

Bulgarian Mayor Charged With Seeking Massive Bribe
The head of the Special Prosecution office, Ivan Gehsev, said on Wednesday that Desislava Ivancheva, the mayor of Mladost, one of the largest districts of Bulgaria's capital, Sofia, allegedly demanded a bribe of 500,000 euros to allow the construction of four new buildings in her district.
