Dacic: Pristina to continue to avoid establishment of Community
BELGRADE - Serbian FM Ivica Dacic said on Monday Pristina had been working for a decade on avoiding the establishment of a Community of Serb Municipalities and would continue that policy in the next round of the Brussels dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina on Tuesday.

The the ceremony - held on the occasion of International Workers Day - was attended by supporters and members of the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS), a member of Serbia's ruling coalition, whose leader is Ivica Dacic.

BELGRADE - There is no social justice without a developed country, Socialist Party of Serbia leader Ivica Dacic said Monday, laying a wreath at the memorial to Serbian socialist and fallen WWI hero Dimitrije Tucovic (1881-1914) on International Workers' Day.

Labor Day marked with picnics and rallies
BELGRADE -- International Workers Day, May 1, is known in Serbia as Labor Day and is a two-day non-working holiday in the country.
It is traditionally marked with early morning picnics and barbecues known in Serbian as "uranak" - and with protests organized by trade unions.

Government works, trade unions rally, crowds picnic
BELGRADE - The International Labor Day, May 1, was marked actively by the government of Serbia - with a session and the decision to start workdays in the public sector one hour earlier, the trade unions staged rallies to draw attention to the position of workers in Serbia, while many went to traditional early morning picnics and barbecues.
Concert of young Serbian and Japanese musicians
BELGRADE - Young musicians from Fukushima, Japan, and children from Serbia will hold a concert entitled So Close Yet So Far Away at Dom Sindikata in Belgrade on March 28.
The concert is organized by the Cukarica Rotary Club and Association Always with Children, the Japanese embassy stated.
