Thiem finishes off Tsitsipas to reach third round
Austrian Dominic Thiem returned to Court 18 to finish off Greek teenager Stefanos Tsitsipas and reach the French Open third round for the third consecutive year on Thursday.
The seventh seed was leading 6-2 2-6 6-4 2-2 when the battle of the single-handed backhands was suspended because of bad light the previous day.

Tsitsipas aiming to continue rise in Paris
Beware a Greek bearing a backhand from the Gods. Stefanos Tsitsipas most probably will not win the French Open this year but such have been the strides he has made the 19-year-old could be a dangerous floater in the men's draw.
A year ago the Athenian was ranked 205th but arrived at Roland Garros as the world number 40.

Grigor Dimitrov Beat David Goffin in Quarter-finals
Bulgarian fourth seed Grigor Dimitrov reached his first Monte Carlo Masters semi-final with a hard-fought win over Belgium's David Goffin.
Dimitrov, 26, won 6-4 7-6 (7-5) against sixth seed Goffin, who was leading 5-1 in the second set.
Spain's world number one Rafael Nadal takes on Austrian third seed Dominic Thiem with the winner playing Dimitrov.
Dimitrov through in Monte Carlo
Alexander Zverev and Grigor Dimitrov both recovered from slow starts to book their places in the third round of the Monte Carlo Masters on Tuesday.
Third seed Zverev was a set down against Giles Muller before recovering strongly in the second and third sets for a 4-6, 6-3, 6-2 victory.

Grigor Dimitrov Continues to be No. 3 World Tennis
Grigor Dimitrov is No. 3 in the world rankings. The Bulgarians failed to defend his title from Brisbane and lost 160 points from his assets.
With 4990, the Bulgarian led with 380 points the fourth Alexander Zverev, who had not yet participated in an official tournament in 2018, and in the first week of the new year he was in Perth for Hopman Cup.

Djokovic to make return in Abu Dhabi in December
ABU DHABI - Serbia's all-time best male tennis player Novak Djokovic will make a return to the tennis court at an exhibition tournament in Abu Dhabi in late December after being sidelined for five months with an elbow injury.
The impressive line-up of the December 28-30 tournament also includes Stan Wawrinka, Rafael Nadal, Pablo Carreno Busta, Dominic Thiem and Milos Raonic.

Official: Grigor Dimitrov will Play at the ATP Finals in London
Grigor Dimitrov achieved one of his biggest goals for 2017. The Bulgarian will officially play in the final ATP Masters next month in London, reports Sportal.
Marin Cilic who is 4th in the world ranking also qualified along with Dimitrov to the last tournament of the season. They took advantage of Sam Querrey's loss in the first round of the tournament in Vienna.
