Gov't to set up commission to probe death of guardsmen

BELGRADE - Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic on Thursday told the parents of two Yugoslav Army guardsmen who died in an army barracks in Belgrade's Topcider district in 2004 the government would set up a fact-finding commission to probe the case.

The guardsmen, Dragan Jakovljevic and Drazen Milovanovic, were found dead after a shooting at the Karas secret military facility 12 years ago.

BELGRADE -- Retired General Branko Krga has told B92 that he does not know anything about the murder case of two members of the Guards unit, that took place in Belgrade.

Krga said that on the day they the two soldiers were shot and killed he was "not even in the country."
