Deputy Prime Minister Valeri Simeonov will file a complaint against the spokesperson of opposition Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP), Elena Yoncheva, over what he called crimes against the national interests and security,  FOCUS News Agency reported.

Although Boyko Borissov's centre-right GERB party holds the greatest number of seats in the new Bulgarian parliament - 95 - another "party" might be said to have secured an absolute majority for the next four years, namely newcomers.

During a meeting today, the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) formed their parliamentary group. It will be called "BSP for Bulgaria" and its chairman will be the BSP leader Kornelia Ninova, announced BGNES.

Ivan Garelov has been fired from the post media adviser of the interim government, announced Garelov himself to Nova TV.

"I spoke to the interim Prime Minister Ognyan Gerdzhikov. He informed me verbally that I have been fired as media adviser. I have not signed anything in writing. Probably, I will receive the order that I have been fired tomorrow," stated Garelov.

The candidate for member of Parliament of the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) Elena Yoncheva urged the former Prime Minister Boyko Borisov to leave politics if the court prove that he lied that the government paid for her reportage.

According to her words during an interview on BTV, she promised to do the same if the words of Borisov prove the truth.

Journalists, artists, athletes, experts and former military men are joining the ranks of Bulgaria's main parties - the centre-right GERB led by Boyko Borissov and the Bulgarian Socialist Party, BSP, led by Korneliya Ninova - ahead of the early parliamentary election set for March 26.

Journalist Elena Yoncheva will be a BSP for Bulgaria candidate, reported Dnevnik daily.

The Executive Bureau of the party discussed the leaders of the candidates lists with which the party will participate in the snap elections on March 26. These have to be confirmed by the National Council of the party on Saturday.

The first visit of President-elect Rumen Radev will be to Brussels.

A week after his assuming office, on January 30 or 31, Radev will travel to the Belgian capital. The information about the visit was sent from the office of the new president and signed by journalist Elena Yoncheva who is expected to become part of Radev's team.

Ukraine has not yet demanded the extradition of Georgi Bliznakov, a Bulgarian national from authorities in Sofia, Chief Prosecutor Sotir Tsatsarov said on Tuesday afternoon.

Ukraine's President Petro Poroshenko on Wednesday signed a decree to ban a number of journalists and politicians, including two Bulgarians, from entering the country.

Magdalena Tasheva, a lawmaker from ultra-nationalist Ataka party, and journalist Elena Yoncheva have thus been declared a threat to the national security and sovereignty of Ukraine.
