Slovenia's best woman boxer Ema Kozin defended her WBF world champion title in the light middleweight category by defeating Hungary's Timea Belik by unanimous decision after ten two-minute rounds in Altdorf, Germany on 24 June.

Boxer Kozin wins WBF light middleweight world champion title
Aalen – Slovenian boxer Ema Kozin defeated Szilvia Szabados of Hungary in Germany’s Aalen on Saturday evening to become the world champion in the women’s light middleweight category in the WBF organisation. This is third weight category in which the 23-year-old from Ljubljana holds the world champion title.

Cardiff – Slovenian boxer Ema Kozin lost against American Claressa Shields on Saturday evening in Cardiff, UK in a fight for the world champion title in a number of categories in the female middleweight class. This is Kozin’s first defeat of her professional fighting career.

Slovenia’s Ema Kozin declared best WBF woman boxer of 2020
Ljubljana – The World Boxing Federation (WBF) has declared Slovenia’s Ema Kozin the best WBF woman boxer of the year 2020, while her coach Rudi Pavlin has in turn been declared the best WBF coach in the last year. This is a second WBF award for Kozin, who last year won the award for the best women’s fight of the year.
