Two people died after an avalanche in Pirin in the Bansko area, announced the Mountain Rescue Service at the Bulgarian Red Cross. The dead were fond of extreme winter sports and were on the western slopes of Todorka peak, reports Dnevnik.

One man has died and another is missing after an avalanche in Pirin Mountain, in the area of Bansko, Mountain Rescue Service Director Emil Neshev told Focus Radio - Pirin. He said the whole team of Mountain Rescue Service - Bansko was currently there on site.
Bulgarian Mountain Rescue Services: Missing Tourist Died
A young man died in Stara Planina, the Mountain Rescue Service announced to the Bulgarian Red Cross (BRC). The man went to the Ambaritsa hut on December 10, and to this day was missing. 30 mountain rescuers have joined the search, but unfortunately, the man is finally found dead.
