Delnice – More than 300 members of the Slovenian community in Croatia turned out for their 18th annual meeting, organised by the Union of Slovenian Associations in Croatia in the Golubinjak Forest Park near Delnice on Saturday.
Slovenian participants satisfied with debate on future of Europe
Strasbourg – The first of four citizens’ panels held as part of the Conference on the Future of Europe wrapped up on Sunday. Slovenia’s two participants, Rok Ropret, 29, and Max Marolt, 22, said they were leaving Strasbourg with positive impressions and satisfied with the debate.
Slovenia to play major role in conference on EU’s future
Ljubljana – Slovenia will play a major role in the organisation of the Conference on the Future of Europe as the bulk of the project is held during the Slovenian EU presidency. The country would like to add value to the conference substance-wise as well. It will strive to make sure that as many voices of EU citizens are heard as possible.

Ljubljana – Slovenia expects to be invited to a summit of MED7, a group of seven Mediterranean EU countries, this autumn, Foreign Minister Anže Logar said on Wednesday as he answered an MP question about the country’s plans to join MED7.

Youth and digitalisation in focus of Adriatic-Ionian conference

The Hague – Foreign Ministry State Secretary Gašper Dovžan expressed Slovenia’s support for an independent and unbiased International Criminal Court (ICC) and for the international community’s efforts to prevent impunity for international crimes, as he took part in the general debate of the general assembly of signatories of the Rome Statute of the ICC.
Logar to meet Italian colleague on-line, visit Vatican Friday
Ljubljana – Foreign Minister Anže Logar is expected to hold talks with his Italian counterpart Luigi Di Maio on Thursday, although virtually and not in-person as was originally scheduled, as Di Maio is self-isolating. Logar will nevertheless travel to Rome, as he is also scheduled to visit the Holy See on Friday.
