Multi-million dollar stars failed to save Be?ikta?, Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray, the three main title contenders in the Turkish Super League, from the hands of their rather moderate rivals, with Galatasaray, the defending champions, bowing to a new member of the league, Osmanl?spor, in a home game. 

Be?ikta??s Spor Toto Super League title hopes came to an inglorious end on May 18 in Ankara, with a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Torku Konyaspor. 

The Black Eagles are now seven points behind league leader Galatasaray with two matches to spare.
