The US embassy in Belgrade on Thursday said that Washington "cannot and will not forget" the killings of Ylli, Agron, and Mehmet Bytyqi, three US citizens of Albanian origin, on July 9, 1999, and urged a "full investigation".

The decision in question banns the former commander of the Serbian Gendarmerie from entering the United States.

It was previously announced that the decision was made because of Radosavljevic's (alleged) involvement in the case of the Bytyqi brothers. The same decision applies to his wife and daughter.

The US State Department said on Tuesday that it is designating Goran Radosavljevic ineligible to enter the country due to what it alleged was "his involvement in gross violations of human rights".
