Grayson Perry

Works by world-famous artists will be showcased at the ArtInternational fair to be held between Sept. 4 and 6 in Istanbul. 

The third ArtInternational will gather pieces by pop-art icon Andy Warhol, British contemporary artist Grayson Perry, English graffiti artist Banksy, Catalan artist Joan Miro and Belgian multidisciplinary artist Jan Fabre.

As part of its 10th year celebration program, Istanbul?s Pera Museum is presenting the work of Turner and BAFTA award winner Grayson Perry. 

Organized in collaboration with the British Council and curated by Linsey Young from the British Council?s Visual Arts Team, the exhibition reflects the artist?s unrelenting fascination with issues of the everyday, religion, class, and identity.

Celebrating its 75th year in Turkey, the British Council continues to see huge potential in the country and aims to establish deeper ties and collaborations between Turkey and the U.K., thus reaching out to more and more people.

The second ArtInternational art fair will be held at Haliç Congress Center in Istanbul from Sept. 26 to 28. Art enthusiasts will enjoy artwork from 80 different galleries from 24 countries around the globe, including Finland, the United States, China, and Saudi Arabia.
