Turkish Media on Bulgaria's Snap Elections
Corruption, social inequality, xenophobia and hatred of foreigners on the one hand and, on the other hand, pressure, rudeness and obstacles against Turks with dual citizenship who wanted to go to Bulgaria in order to vote there, wrote the online edition Haberler and added that there was tension, discontent and scandals due to the insufficient number of voting sections in Turkey.

If we had known about the coup, we would have told the Turkish gov't: US consul-general
Popular conspiracy theories in Turkey alleging U.S. involvement in the July 15 military coup attempt are deeply disturbing and frustrating, according to Jennifer Davis, the new U.S. Consul-General to Istanbul.

Turkish media veteran dies at 85
Turkish media veteran Erol Simavi, the son of the founder of daily Hürriyet, Sedat Simavi, has died at 85 in Monaco.
His body will be brought to Turkey on June 10 for his funeral ceremony.
