Cultural Road Festival opens in Diyarbakır
The Sur Cultural Road Festival, organized for the first time this year within the scope of the Turkish Cultural Road Festival events, has started in Diyarbakır.
Organized by the Culture and Tourism Ministry, the festival will host more than 600 events with the participation of more than 2,000 artists until Oct. 16.

Baksı Museum opens two new exhibitions
An exhibition, titled "Kıraçta Heykel" (Sculpture in the Barren), and projects deemed worthy of the Anatolian Awards are being presented to art lovers at Baksı Museum, which opened in 2010 in the northeastern province of Bayburt.

Baksı Museum wins award at short film contest
Baksı Museum - an extraordinary collection of traditional and modern artwork, located in the southeastern Bayburt Province - has won an award for a short film from the international "Museums in Short" contest.
Directed by Kadir Saraç, the film competed with 55 videos from 26 countries and drew praise from the jury.

Childhood memories become exhibition at Baksı Museum
The Baksı Museum, established in the Bayraktar village of the northeastern province of Bayburt and the recipient of the 2014 European Council Museum Award, will host an extraordinary personal exhibition in 2017 from its founder, Professor Hüsamettin Koçan.
Art valleys in Anatolia
The Baks? Museum was founded in 2005 in a village in Bayburt, one of Turkey's most distant eastern places, by an artist and academic Professor Hüsamettin Koçan. The museum, founded literally in the middle of nowhere, was a utopia come true.
Koçan was supported by artists who donated their work to the museum and a handful of businesspersons.

Heritage 2015 fair opens in Istanbul
