US Reiterates Call for Kosovo-Montenegro Border Deal
A top U.S. State Department official on Wednesday urged Kosovo officials to ratify a border demarcation agreement with Montenegro, the last remaining criteria to be fulfilled before Kosovo can benefit from visa-free travel to the European Schengen zone.

According to the Belgrade-based daily Vecernje Novosti, these points are: deep disagreement over the issue of Kosovo and Metohija, and continuing pressure on Serbia to abandon its close relations with Russia.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic received on Tuesday at the Palace of Serbia in New Belgrade US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Hoyt Brian Yee.
Earlier today, Yee met with Prime Minister Ana Brnabic, and Deputy Prime Minister Zoran Mihajlovic.

The statement was made a day before his meeting with Serbian President Alexander Vucic.
