Turkey's top soldier pays Eid visit to border posts in Gaziantep

Turkish Chief of General Staff Gen. Hulusi Akar paid a visit to border posts in the Karkamış district in the southern province of Gaziantep on Sept. 12 to celebrate Islam's holy Eid al-Adha (Feast of Sacrifice) holiday with soldiers amid the ongoing Euphrates Shield Operation in Syria.

Turkey's top soldier says army gets stronger as 'traitors' removed

The Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) continues to carry out a variety of duties to maintain security and stability across Turkey, the region and the world, while getting stronger with the removal of "traitors" from within its ranks, Turkish Chief of General Staff Gen. Hulusi Akar has said in his written statement for the Eid al-Adha holiday. 

July 15 to mark fest for our democracy, says Turkish PM

362 ISIL militants killed in Syria shelling: Turkish minister

A total of 362 Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) militants were killed in operations targeting the jihadist group's positions in Syria, Turkey's defense minister has announced.

Speaking in the southern province of Kilis, Defense Minister ?smet Y?lmaz said 146 targets had been shelled by Turkish artillery and 362 ISIL militants had been killed.
