The Romanian Olympic and Sports Committee (COSR) presented on Sunday evening Team Romania for the Tokyo Olympic Games (July 23 - August 8) which includes 100 athletes - 45 women and 55 in men - who will be competing in 17 sports.

Romania's Women's eight (W8+) and Men's eight (M8+) crews have qualified for the Tokyo Olympic Games, on Sunday after finishing second the races within the World Rowing Final Olympic Qualification Regatta in Lucerne, Switzerland.

Romania's Men's Eight (M8+) crew won the silver medal on Sunday at the 2021 European Rowing Championships in Varese, Italy, which brought the country's medal tally to two gold medals and four silver ones.
