Cate Blanchett to chair 2018 Cannes Film Festival jury
Oscar-winning actress Cate Blanchett is to chair the jury that will pick the award winners at this year's Cannes Film Festival, reported BBC.
She is "a rare and unique artist with talent and conviction", the Cannes Film Festival organisers said.

Phaedra(s) | Athens | December 20-22
The Onassis Cultural Center welcomes acclaimed French actress Isabelle Huppert in Polish avant-garde director Krzysztof Warlikowski's "Phaedra(s)," which will be staged at the Stegi on December 20, 21 and 22. The three-hour, 10-minute performance starts at 8 p.m. Admission ranges from 15 to 48 euros (special rates for students, unemployed and groups).

Esquire: Greek movie “Lobster” no.1 in top 25 list (videos)
Esquire, the renowned Men’s fashion magazine released its top 25 movies for 2016, with the editors’ top pick being Greek director Yorgos Lanthimo’s “The Lobster”, starring Collin Farrell. It is quite an honour for a Greek film to beat out some of the biggest names in the film industry. Another notable Greek entry into its list at 10th spot is Athina Rachel Tsangari’s “Chevaler”.
Refugees documentary wins Berlin fest top prize
Italian director Gianfranco Rosi's "Fire at Sea," a harrowing documentary about Europe's refugee crisis, clinched the Berlin film festival's Golden Bear top prize on Feb. 20 from a jury led by Meryl Streep.
