Opposition wants minister to resign over vaccination death, he sees no reason to do so
Ljubljana – Four opposition parties called on Health Minister Janez Poklukar to resign over the vaccination death of a young woman after the newspaper Dnevnik reported that Poklukar and his team were the authors of the decree granting a Covid pass as soon as a person receives the Johnson & Johnson jab. The minister sees no reason to step down.
Pfizer jab recommended in Slovenia for under 30s
Ljubljana – Slovenia will follow the recommendation of the national advisory committee on immunisation to use the Pfizer vaccine for those under 30 years old, Health Minister Janez Poklukar said on Monday. In general, the use of mRNA vaccines will be recommended over viral vector vaccines.

Iceland halts Moderna jabs over heart-inflammation fears
Iceland on Oct. 8 suspended the Moderna anti-Covid vaccine, citing the slight increased risks of cardiac inflammation, going further than its Nordic neighbors which simply limited use of the jabs.
Janssen Vaccine Can Rarely Cause Neurological Reaction
US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) updated the warning that Janssen vaccine may include minimal risk of developing Guillan Barré syndrome (GBS).
The warning states that the symptoms began within 42 days after the vaccination and that "the chance of this happening is very low".

Ljubljana/Maribor/Koper – As Covid-19 vaccine supply in Slovenia has outstripped demand, it is now possible to choose between different jabs while the government is also planning to set up mobile vaccination units to make vaccination even more accessible.

Belgium Suspends Vaccinations with J&J Following One Fatality
The Belgian government said on Wednesday it was suspending vaccinations with Johnson & Johnson's COVID-19 vaccine for people under the age of 41 following the death of a woman from severe side-effects after receiving the jab.
Additional Vaccine Doses Arrived in Bulgaria
Today, 62,010 doses of Pfizer/BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine and 50,400 doses of AstraZeneca arrived in Bulgaria, reported the Ministry of Health press office.
Moderna drugs manufacture supplied38,400 doses of their vaccine yesterday, the press office added.
The delivered jabs were immediately distributed among regional health inspectorates across the country.
