Turkish contractors play a key role in the reconstruction of liberated regions in Nagorno-Karabakh, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov told Hürriyet Daily News.

Romania's Foreign Minister Bogdan Aurescu highlighted on Friday the importance that the European Union attaches to the countries in its Eastern Neighbourhood, as well as the EU interest in an increased involvement in the region, including in order to solve prolonged conflicts, in talks in Baku with President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and with head of Azerbaijani diplomacy Jeyhu

In Tajikistan for a regional conference, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu on March 29 met with a number of his counterparts, including India's Subrahmanyam Jaishankar.

Afterwards, Çavuşoğlu said on Twitter: "Discussed our relations and regional developments w/Foreign Minister @DrSJaishankar of #India." 

Top diplomats of Turkey, Pakistan and Azerbaijan have agreed to take concrete steps to further deepen their bilateral and trilateral ties at the three-way meeting held in Islamabad, vowing support to each other in disputes concerning Nagorno-Karabakh, Cyprus and Jammu and Kashmir.

Citizens of Turkey and Azerbaijan will soon be able to travel to each other's country with only their state identity cards, the Turkish foreign minister announced on Dec. 10. 

Turkey has said it will continue to stand with Azerbaijan in its ongoing dispute with Armenia, calling the latter to cease disruptive and destabilizing policies in the south Caucasus.
