City Park, in the heart of Sarajevo, will be named after Jelena Vitas, the city council decided on Thursday, following a local referendum held in April.

AFP - Macedonians went to the polls Sunday to vote on whether to re-name their country North Macedonia in a bid to settle a long-running row with Greece and unlock its path to NATO and EU membership.
Macedonia has struggled for recognition of its name since its birth in 1991 when the landlocked country declared independence from Yugoslavia.

FM's plea to another country to reconsider Kosovo decision
Dacic, who is visiting the island nation, pointed out that this decision went against the principles for which that country is fighting where their territorial integrity is concerned, and that Serbia and Comoros share ties of friendly relations from the era of the former Yugoslavia and its leader, Josip Broz Tito.
Dacic asks Gambia to review Kosovo decision
Dacic told a joint press conference in Belgrade that he "suggested to Darboe and asked him" that his country should reconsider the decision, which a former government made in 2009.
