Sports Digest: Stefanidi unbeaten in Diamond League
TRACK & FIELD: Pole vault champion Katerina Stefanidi made it three in a row at the IAAF Diamond League meetings so far this year finishing first in London on Sunday, after clearing 4.81 meters. Cypriot Milan Trajkovic was second in the 100-meter hurdles at the same meeting, clocking 13.25 second, a national record.
Sports Digest: World-class jump by Tentoglou
TRACK & FIELD: Teenager Miltos Tentoglou produced a new national Under-20 record in the men's long jump and the fourth best jump in the world this year measuring 8.29 meters at the National Championship that took place over the weekend in Patra.

Sports Digest: World-leading Stefanidi has a go at the world record
TRACK & FIELD: Olympic champion Katerina Stefanidi cleared a world-leading 4.85 meters at the women's pole vault event of the Rome Diamond League meeting on Thursday. She went on to try her luck at 5.07 m. for a new world record, but she could not make it.
Sports Digest: PAOK and AEK to meet again on Sunday
SOCCER: The pair of the Cup final will meet again on Sunday as the first round of games for the Super league play-offs pits PAOK with AEK in Thessaloniki. Panionios will host Panathinaikos, according to the draw conducted on Monday.
Tsipras hails Greek medalists, says athletes need support
Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras is seen at Maximos Mansion in Athens Tuesday with athletes who represented Greece at the 34th European Athletics Indoor Championships in Belgrade, including pole vaulters Katerina Stefanidi and Constantinos Filippidis and triple-jumper Voula Papachristou.
Stefanidi adds European Indoor gold to her collection
Olympic champion Katerina Stefanidi won gold at the European Indoor Championship in Belgrade at the women's pole-vault final on Saturday, while triple-jump champion Voula Papachristou landed bronze. They have taken Greece's medal tally to three, one day before the completion of the event.
Athens Street Pole Vault event among Europe's top
European Athletics, track and field's supreme authority in Europe, has included the Athens Street Pole Vault meeting, that takes place the Greek capital every summer, in the list of the Special Premium events for next year.
The well-organized international event will be held for a fifth time in Athens on June 1, 2017. Just like in 2015 and 2016, it will be hosted at Syntagma Square.

Mastoras and Stefanidi win silver in Prague

Greece won two silver medals on the final day of the European Indoor Track & Field Championships in Prague on Sunday, as Antonis Mastoras and Katerina Stefanidi finished second in the men?s high jump and the women?s pole vault respectively.

Long jumper Tsatoumas takes Greece's second silver at European Championships
Greece won its second medal at the European Athletics Championships in Zurich, Switzerland, on Sunday with Louis Tsatoumas coming second in the long jump.
Briton Greg Rutherford won the event with a leap of 8.29 meters. Tsatoumas took silver with 8.15 meters, just one centimeter ahead of France's Kafetien Gomis, who claimed bronze.
Stefanidi wins gold in women's pole vault at European Championships
Katerina Stefanidi won a silver medal for Greece in the womens pole vault at the European Athletics Championship in Zurich on Thursday night.
Anzhelika Sidorova of Russia won the competition in dramatic style as she cleared 4.65 meters on her third and final attempt to move above Stefanidi, who had finished her competition with a best of 4.60 but was ahead on countback.
