Bakhar to take over at Red Star Belgrade in summer
BELGRADE - Israeli football coach Barak Bakhar will take over at Red Star Belgrade in the summer to lead the Serbian club in the UEFA Champions League next season, Tanjug learns.
With his current club, Maccabi Haifa, Bakhar defeated Red Star in the Champions League play-offs in August.

Olympiakos drops further behind in title race
Atromitos and Olympiakos canceled each other out in a very entertaining 2-2 draw on Sunday that leaves the champion far behind the Super League summit, while AEK ground out a 1-0 win over Asteras Tripolis to temporarily go on top until previous leader PAOK hosts Larissa on Monday.

Sports Digest: Olympiakos and AEK to face off in Cup, again
SOCCER: Olympiakos will face AEK in the quarterfinals of the Greek Cup, with the first game midweek next week and the return two weeks later. This will be the fourth consecutive season the two sides will meet in the competition. The other pairings in Monday's draw were PAOK vs Atromitos, Panionios vs Lamia and PAS Giannina vs Larissa.

Olympiakos 'winter champion' as AEK stumbles at home
Olympiakos took advantage of AEK's slip-up at home to finish first at the halfway point of the Super League season and earn the unofficial title of the winter champion.
AEK was held to a goalless draw at home on Saturday by Apollon, whose new manager Giorgos Paraschos managed to organize the visitors' defense well enough to frustrate the Yellows at the Olympic Stadium.
Olympiakos comes from behind to rise to the top
Champion Olympiakos beat Kerkyra away on Sunday to return to the top of the Super League table, at least for 24 hours until AEK hosts Platanias in Athens, as PAOK slipped up at Panionios.

AEK comeback stuns Olympiakos
Lazaros Christodoulopoulos led AEK to a comeback triumph over Olympiakos in the season's first derby, as the Yellows won 3-2 at home on Sunday to stay alone on top of the table.
They are two points clear of PAOK and Panionios who scored home wins on Sunday, in a much more productive Super League weekend than the previous one.

Olympiakos books place in Champions League group stage
Olympiakos on Tuesday booked a place in the UEFA Champions League group stage scoring a second victory in the play-off round against Rijeka in Croatia.
The Greek champions, who beat the Croatian side in Piraeus last week, scored the only goal of the match with Marko Marin in the 25th minute to progress 3-1 on aggregate.

Ben Mohamed scored a precious brace for Olympiakos in Belgrade to lead the Reds to a 3-1 win over Partizan for the third qualifying round of the Champions League on Tuesday, while AEK lost 2-0 at home to a superior CSKA Moscow. The results render next week's return games largely academical.
