Bulgaria Launches Natural Gas Hub Project with EU Support
Bulgaria is creating a natural gas hub at its Black Sea coast.
The Bulgarian energy ministry says the state-owned company Bulgartransgaz signed a 1.2 million-euro ($1.5 million) contract Thursday with a Bulgarian-Swiss consortium for a feasibility study. The European Union has pledged to provide 920,000 euros ($1.13 million) for the project.

Bulgarian President Calls for Starting EU's Energy Union From Balkans
At a meeting with European Commission Vice-President in charge of Energy Union Maros Sefcovic in Munich on Saturday, Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev called for the creation of the European Energy Union to begin from the Balkans.
Plevneliev is on a visit to Germany for participation at the 52ndMunich Security Conference which is taking place from Friday to Sunday.
