Serb Republic (RS) President Milorad Dodik has said that he "accepts help from Serbia and Europe" so that a planned referendum "would not have to be held."

This Bosniak (Muslim) member of the country's tripartite presidency was referring to the Muslim-Croat Federation (FBiH) entity of Bosnia. Dodik is the president of the Serb entity, the RS.

Milorad Dodik says it is "logical" that Russia has supported the Serb entity's intention to hold a referendum on the state-level justice system in Bosnia.

Bosniak delegates to the Council of Peoples in the Republika Srpska assembly on Thursday used their veto powers to block the assembly's decision last week to hold a referendum on the authority of the state judicial institutions and the Office of the High Representative.

The Facebook group "Bosniaks" has published a map of Bosnia-Herzegovina and "guidelines and a detailed plan on the use of military forces to abolish the RS."

RS President Milorad Dodik says he is "not against" reaching a compromise when it comes to a referendum on state-level judiciary in Bosnia-Herzegovina.

"If a solution is found parliament could again be deciding on that," Dodik told public broadcaster of the Serb entity RTRS.

According to RS President Milorad Dodik, the incident in Potocari on July 11 represents "an attempt to murder (Serbian Prime Minister) Aleksandar Vucic."

Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic says he has asked RS Presidnt Milorad Dodik to "once again consider the decision to hold a referendum."

Vucic also stated that he "pointed out to the wider context of this problem."

Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic will on Friday meet with Milorad Dodik, president of the Serb Republic (RS) - the Serb entity in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
