Lajcak, Escobar to visit Belgrade, Pristina next week

BRUSSELS - The EU special envoy for the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue Miroslav Lajcak and US special Western Balkans envoy Gabriel Escobar will be visiting Belgrade and Pristina on Monday and Tuesday, sources in the EU confirmed to Tanjug on Friday.

The sources said a calming of tensions in the north of Kosovo-Metohija was the main objective of the joint visit.

Petkovic meets with Lajcak ahead of new round of dialogue with Pristina

BRUSSELS - A meeting between the director of the Serbian government Office for Kosovo-Metohija Petar Petkovic and the EU special envoy for the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue Miroslav Lajcak began in Brussels shortly after 9 am on Monday.

They met ahead of a new round of technical dialogue between chief negotiators.
