Mitag Typhoon Took Nine Victims in South Korea, Five People Remain Missing
Typhoon Mitag caused the death of nine people in South Korea. Five remain missing, the Associated Press reported.
The storm brought strong winds and torrential rains in the south parts of the country.
The interior ministry reported that six of the victims were killed in a landslide. Seven people were injured in typhoon-related accidents.

North Korea Will Never Negotiate with Seoul again
North Korea has said it will never negotiate with Seoul again. In a statement released by North Korean state news agency KCTA, a spokesman for the Peacekeeping Committee rejected South Korean President Moon Jae-in's promise to continue the dialogue between the two countries, BTA reported.
Yesterday, Moon set a goal for Korea's reunification by 2045.

Trump Became the First US President to Enter North Korea
US President Donald Trump became the first US acting head of state to cross the border between South and North Korea.
This happened as he met with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un in the demilitarized area, which continued with a one-hour tripartite conversation with the leaders of the two Koreas on the southern side of the border.

Trump cancels formal meeting with Erdoğan at G-20 summit
U.S. President Donald Trump will not hold formal meetings with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and South Korea's Moon Jae-in, but will instead speak informally with those leaders at the conference, White House spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders said.
