SOFIA, Bulgaria (AP) — Bulgarian police have discovered and seized more than 360 kilograms (nearly 800 pounds) of cocaine from an apartment in the capital.

The Minister of Transport Ivaylo Moskovski, the Minister of Regional Development Nikolay Nankov and the Interior Minister Valentin Radev have deposited their resignations. Nikolay Nankov said at a briefing in the Council of Ministers. In the words of Interior Minister Radev, they will thus bear the political responsibility for the tragic incident near Svoge.

President Rumen Radev seems troubled - he goes on to make personal attacks because he has no arguments. This was announced on bTV by Deputy Chairman of GERB Tsvetan Tsvetanov on the occasion of Radev's attacks on the prime minister Boyko Borisov.
According to him, the president is worried about the promises he has not fulfilled.

Hospitals will bankrupt warn the Bulgarian Medical Association (BMA), Nova TV reported. The reason for the financial collapse would be the draft budget of the health fund for next year.

The Minister of Health Prof. Nikolay Petrov resigned. The resignation was accepted by Prime Minister Boyko Borisov, the government's press service announced, quoted by BGNES.

This is the first minister in the third government of Prime Minister Borisov, who withdrew from his post.

The Ministry of Health has set a target for up to half a year for every Bulgarian to have access to his/her electronic health record.

This was announced to BNT by Minister Nikolay Petrov.

The budget of the National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF) for next year will be increase by BGN 407 million and so the fund will rely on BGN 3.8 billion in 2018. This was decided by the Supervisory Board of the institution late on Monday, reports Mediapool. 

Another BGN 300 thousand  will be provided by the Ministry of Health to the hospitals in Lovech and Vratsa, Minister of Health Nikolay Petrov told journalists, reported bTV.

Emergency assistance has already been paid in the two medical establishments, Minister Petrov assured.

There should be special pediatric hospital in Bulgaria. This is the idea of a French delegation, which met today with the Minister of Health Prof. Nikolay Petrov.
